BREKKUBROTHERS Volume 2 "From Boston to Tórshavn"

Brekku Brothers are back with their second album "volume 2 - From Boston to Tórshavn" After a successfull "Nodic Relations Tour" fall 2006 the group made a recording session in Airplay Studio in Århus, Denmark. The music on Brekku Brothers volume 2 is a mix of Nordic jazz and New Yorker jazz still with at blend of humour.

BREKKUBROTHERS has it's 1st CD out, VOL. 1. The music on Vol. 1. is the succesful result of a wonderful recording experience at the small and almost "like at home" HUGNA studio in the Faroe Islands. Since it’s foundation in 2000, BREKKUBROTHERS has been breaking a new kind of energy on the Faroese jazz scene. The music is unpolished, with personality and a big heart. This project is a strongly involving process in which the a very high degree of personal commitment and output from the 4 musicians.
The 4 musicians are all a part of the Faroese jazz scene. Despite their busyness in a bunch of other bands, this one has remained a kind of darling.

Brekku Brothers are just finished recording their second album in Airplay studio in Århus. The album will be out in the shops spring 2007
